Any designer/maker of jewellery will tell you how they love their tools and their workspace.  It's always exciting to set up your workspace, to make it feel cosy, comfortable and having everything you need close to hand.  It's the place your ideas come to life and time just gets lost there.

I am quite a neat person, so when I am working, I like things to stay as orderly as they can in an environment where you are using a jewellers saw, filing and polishing.

When you are starting out, you get the basics but as time goes on, you are able to build your tools up and when you get something that you use a lot, you wonder how you did without it.  That goes for this for me:

Jewellery Designer/Maker selling Handmade Silver Rings and Earrings and Handmade Silver Bangles, Bracelets and Necklaces

It has a digital reading so makes things            much more accurate than using just a ruler.

It doesn't cost a fortune, but as I said, you tend to make do when you first start out.

When it arrived, I couldn't wait to start using it, that's how you become being a maker of jewellery, I'm sure it is the same for makers of anything else also.

Another essential in the workshop is the radio.  I do have a sing, hope no one ever hears! :-)

Have fun and take care
